Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

This is no ordinary fan — obviously. In fact, did you even realize that it IS a fan?
This is the new Dyson Air Multiplier Table Fan, and while you’ll definitely have to pay a good amount for this revolutionary technology, there are some very valid reasons why you should give it some consideration when making your next fan purchase:
- Notice there are NO blades — The Dyson Air Multiplier technology does not require blades to generate a steady stream of air. We don’t use traditional fans around our children because of the dangerous, fast-spinning blades. When I was younger, I leaned back over one of those old fans with the metal blades. It immediately sucked my long hair up in it, pulling out a good section of it, so while I learned the hard way, we’ve chosen not to expose our children to them at all.
- It’s super easy to clean — After a few days of use, traditional fan blades and the fan casing become caked with dust, fibers, and pollen. Getting them clean is a major ordeal, but with the Air Multiplier, you can just easily wipe it clean with a damp cloth. This is especially important for households with allergy sufferers.
- It uses a dimmer switch — Traditional fans usually only have 3-4 speed settings, but the Dyson Air Multiplier allows you to set your own perfect amount of air flow by turning a dial.
- You can easily tilt it with the touch-tilt feature — Box fans don’t tilt at all, and directional fans can become loose over time, making adjusting them difficult. The Dyson Air Multiplier has a touch-tilt feature that makes directing the air flow simple and easy.
I know some of you that use a fan at night to help you sleep are probably wondering if it’s silent. Well, it’s definitely quieter than a traditional fan, but it still provides a good amount of white noise that will help put you drift off to sleep.
We’ve been thoroughly happy with our Dyson Air Multiplier Fan. Besides being very futuristic-looking and a great conversation starter, it does a great job cooling off a room in a safe manner that’s very important to this mom of five.

I would love to have this for my husband. He has a lot of problems sleeping because of his digestive disease and also because he sleeps during the day because he works at night. He sleeps so much better when it is cool in the room.
Alisha Parker
I would put it in my bedroom!

I just joined the Deal Seeking Mom Forums!

I sleep with a fan year round. So I would put it on my nightstand!
Melissa Smith
Most definitely on my nightstand!

I would put in on my husband’s night stand facing his side of the bed! He’s always hot when I’m cold!

I would LOVE to have this fan! I have seen them advertised and think it is a great idea! I would LOVE to have them in the house because we have a little 9 month old baby crawling around and climbing and getting into everything! With a fan like this we wouldn’t have to worry about her getting her fingers hurt in fan blades.
lisa
I would put it on my kitchen counter it’s open to the livingroom and kitchen. It could face the kitchen when I’m cooking and the living room when I’m not.
ThreeThriftyGuys
I’d love one of these for my kids room.
Jessica Stefanko
I would put it in the bonus room. I go out there do any Pampered Chef work I have, and my husband goes out there to play his guitar. We’ve got a small 2 bedroom house, and we just had a new baby. The bonus room does not have air running to it, but we have to move that stuff out there since there’s no space. We’re busting at the seams over here! LoL!

Wow, it would be perfect right on my desk and then I would take it to bed with me on my night stand. I would love it!

I would put it next to my bed. This summer heat is not fun while being pregnant.
Amy M
I would put it in our living room that is so much warmer in the summer time than the rest of the house.

Wow, very cool! I’d put it in my son’s room because the feeling of air calms him. He has autism and it’s one of our tricks for helping him through a melt down. We use to use a ceiling fan but he broke it.

I’d put it in the garage lol, My hubby works in there alot and needs a good fan to move the air.
Elizabeth
As much as I’d like it on my bedside table, I’d give it to my mom so she could use it wherever need be since she has a swamp cooler at her house and it doesn’t work when it’s humid outside.
Trish
I would love to win this fan! I have seen them at the store but they are so expensive i cant justify the purchase. I would love to replace the one on my dresser with a quieter more trendy one!
Jen Frank
I would love this fan! I would use it in my son’s bedroom, he is 20 months and quite a monkey. I won’t put a fan in there because I am afraid of him getting hurt by it. Unfortunately for him, he sleeps in the hottest room in our house. We live in WI; that room is great for him in the winter, but way to hot in the summer.
Dan
I need a desk fan for my office. It’s off on the south side of the house and really heats up during the day.

I’d put it in my daughter’s bedroom. She suffers with asthma and allergies and this Dyson fan would help a lot.
Vickie Heydenreich
Wow, I would place in one or two spots…either the bathroom when getting dressed and ready in the morning or on the screened porch!!
Paige
Mine would go either in our bedroom to replace the stand fan that seems to take over – or the living room!

This fan is JUST what we’ve been looking for! We have a special needs child who gets SO HOT from the medication he takes and we can’t put a traditional fan in his room or he’ll stick his fingers in it. The ceiling fan just hasn’t “cut it”, but these new bladeless fans are spendy! This would be a HUGE blessing to us!!!!
