Win-It Wednesday: Crazy Busy Beautiful by Carmindy + Makeup Kit (2 Winners!)

I’ve always admired Carmindy‘s effortless style and simple beauty tips on TLC’s What Not To Wear, so I was super excited to hear that she’s publishing a book, Crazy Busy Beautiful: Beauty Secrets for Getting Gorgeous Fast. As I expected, Carmindy delivers simple and easy beauty tips that will work for all women, but what really won me over were her “Moneysaver” tips liberally sprinkled throughout the book, like creating your own tinted moisturizer by mixing your regular foundation with a SPF-infused moisturizer and mixing a drop of red food coloring with a bit of clear lip balm for a quick and easy cream blush.

I also had the opportunity to try several cosmetics from Carmindy’s new Sally Hansen Natural Beauty line. My favorite is the Fast Fix Eyeshadow Base. My eyeshadow never seems to stay on very long, and this kept it looking fresh all day long.

    I never leave home with out lip color! I always have a few tubes of Cover Girl Lip Slicks in my purse, just enough color, with plenty of moisturizers too!

    I never leave home without chapstick. I have one in my car, diaper bag, purse…always have chapstick/lip gloss etc.

    Mascara and eyeliner, and Bonne Belle pink lemonade Lip Smackers! I’ve apparently never grown up… but it smells so good and its glossy without being sticky.

    simply can not leave without eyeliner. Everything else can wait, but do not leave the bathroom, let alone the house without eyeliner.
