Win-It Wednesday: Crazy Busy Beautiful by Carmindy + Makeup Kit (2 Winners!)

I’ve always admired Carmindy‘s effortless style and simple beauty tips on TLC’s What Not To Wear, so I was super excited to hear that she’s publishing a book, Crazy Busy Beautiful: Beauty Secrets for Getting Gorgeous Fast. As I expected, Carmindy delivers simple and easy beauty tips that will work for all women, but what really won me over were her “Moneysaver” tips liberally sprinkled throughout the book, like creating your own tinted moisturizer by mixing your regular foundation with a SPF-infused moisturizer and mixing a drop of red food coloring with a bit of clear lip balm for a quick and easy cream blush.

I also had the opportunity to try several cosmetics from Carmindy’s new Sally Hansen Natural Beauty line. My favorite is the Fast Fix Eyeshadow Base. My eyeshadow never seems to stay on very long, and this kept it looking fresh all day long.

    If there’s one thing I can’t leave the house without it’s foundation and also curling my eyelashes.

    I always us foundation. I have many scars left from an accident that me and my husband were in 25 years ago. I try to camoflauge these places.

    I think previous post got lost. : /

    My daily repertoire is: Foundation, Concealer, Blush, Eyeshadow on lids and as liner, Lipstick, Finishing Powder and Mascara. Once in awhile I will go without shadow, but Mascara is a must!
