Win-It Wednesday: Crazy Busy Beautiful by Carmindy + Makeup Kit (2 Winners!)

I’ve always admired Carmindy‘s effortless style and simple beauty tips on TLC’s What Not To Wear, so I was super excited to hear that she’s publishing a book, Crazy Busy Beautiful: Beauty Secrets for Getting Gorgeous Fast. As I expected, Carmindy delivers simple and easy beauty tips that will work for all women, but what really won me over were her “Moneysaver” tips liberally sprinkled throughout the book, like creating your own tinted moisturizer by mixing your regular foundation with a SPF-infused moisturizer and mixing a drop of red food coloring with a bit of clear lip balm for a quick and easy cream blush.

I also had the opportunity to try several cosmetics from Carmindy’s new Sally Hansen Natural Beauty line. My favorite is the Fast Fix Eyeshadow Base. My eyeshadow never seems to stay on very long, and this kept it looking fresh all day long.

    I don’t have to have makeup to leave the house, but I really like to wear eyeshadow and foundation, evens me out and takes the focus off the ever present dark circles under my eyes.

    I have to have make up before I go to class. I’m an older single mom who went back to college to finish my degree. I can’t go without something on, just because I know I’m going to be sitting with all those young kids! Lol

    I don’t wear too much makeup because I don’t feel I have time to put it on in the morning – having quick tips would be great!! I usually go with a little chapstick or lip gloss in the morning.

    I have make up and i love to ware eye liner but i never have time in the mornings. i wish i could look nice for my job everyday but the kids and house just come first. Make up is a must when i go out but anytime else its plain jane face and have in a pony!! i have to ask how do you do it! you always look so nice in your videos. five kids and i only have 2 lol. Thank you and keep doing what you do on this site it helps a lot!!!
