Win-It Wednesday: Crazy Busy Beautiful by Carmindy + Makeup Kit (2 Winners!)

I’ve always admired Carmindy‘s effortless style and simple beauty tips on TLC’s What Not To Wear, so I was super excited to hear that she’s publishing a book, Crazy Busy Beautiful: Beauty Secrets for Getting Gorgeous Fast. As I expected, Carmindy delivers simple and easy beauty tips that will work for all women, but what really won me over were her “Moneysaver” tips liberally sprinkled throughout the book, like creating your own tinted moisturizer by mixing your regular foundation with a SPF-infused moisturizer and mixing a drop of red food coloring with a bit of clear lip balm for a quick and easy cream blush.

I also had the opportunity to try several cosmetics from Carmindy’s new Sally Hansen Natural Beauty line. My favorite is the Fast Fix Eyeshadow Base. My eyeshadow never seems to stay on very long, and this kept it looking fresh all day long.

    I have to at least have my eyebrows filled in and mascara. If I’m gonna go that far, I throw on some pressed powder and cheek color.

    I almost always leave home without makeup. I have a 16 month old son so I just don’t have the time to do it before I leave. I do however ALWAYS brush my teeth and hair and put on deoderant :) LOL. This would be awesome to win it’s my birthday tommorrow so this would make a great present.

    It’s all about the lips baby! I cant go anywhere without something on them! It doesnt have to even be color – as long as they are glossed or moisturized!

    I do not leave my house without mascara, and lipgloss. And on those rare occasions that I’ve been busy and forgotten to do mascara, lol I know it while I’m out.
