Win-It Wednesday: Crazy Busy Beautiful by Carmindy + Makeup Kit (2 Winners!)

I’ve always admired Carmindy‘s effortless style and simple beauty tips on TLC’s What Not To Wear, so I was super excited to hear that she’s publishing a book, Crazy Busy Beautiful: Beauty Secrets for Getting Gorgeous Fast. As I expected, Carmindy delivers simple and easy beauty tips that will work for all women, but what really won me over were her “Moneysaver” tips liberally sprinkled throughout the book, like creating your own tinted moisturizer by mixing your regular foundation with a SPF-infused moisturizer and mixing a drop of red food coloring with a bit of clear lip balm for a quick and easy cream blush.

I also had the opportunity to try several cosmetics from Carmindy’s new Sally Hansen Natural Beauty line. My favorite is the Fast Fix Eyeshadow Base. My eyeshadow never seems to stay on very long, and this kept it looking fresh all day long.

    I always wear mascara and eyeliner (a creamy eye color stick, not really eyeliner). I also wear a bit of eye shadow and lip balm. I can’t seem to manage to get blush to look good, so I avoid it.

    Either a tinted foundation and/or eyeliner. I feel so washed out if I don’t have that at least.

    OMG…. I must line those eyes before I leave the house! Usually powder or foundation too, but eyeliner is a must!

    I’d love to find a makeup I like enough to say I can’t live without it, haven’t found it yet. My staple though for dry lips is Aquaphor.
