Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting several 24-hour giveaways throughout the day to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’m a foodie at heart, so I love trying out new recipes. When I heard that All You, my absolute fave magazine, was publishing a cookbook, I jumped at the chance to review it. All You Eat Well, Save Big is filled with over 140 meals under $2.50 per serving, this is a fantastic resource for those of us trying to live within a budget. These recipes don’t skimp on meat, and are full of flavor.
I love the fact that the recipes have a reasonable number of ingredients. My eyes just glaze over when I see those ingredients lists that are ten miles long. And I also enjoyed the Smart Tips that are shared throughout the book, giving advice on choosing the perfect pot, quick and easy side dishes, how to pick the perfect produce, and much more.
Of course, what publication from All You would be complete without coupons? The following coupons are included in the back:
- $1/2 Jack Daniel’s Barbecue Sauce or EZ Marinader, exp. 12-31-10
- $1/1 Lea & Perrins Thick Classic Worcestershire Sauce, exp. 12-31-10

One of our favorite holiday dishes is a salad you marinate the day before. Cut up fresh vegetables: cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, carrots, then marinate overnight in Italian dressing (the clear kind, NOT creamy). I have found that the cheaper the dressing, the better. Store brands are great. I also put in the cheap garlic/pepper/salt combo shaker stuff you can buy at Walgreens for $1. Stir occasionally. When you are ready to serve, add fresh diced tomatoes. My aunt loved this salad so much she would have leftovers for breakfast the next morning!

My family’s latest favorite recipe is the cinnamon rolls from the new” Pioneer Woman Cooks” book. They are awesome the day you make them and freeze like a dream.
