Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting several 24-hour giveaways throughout the day to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’m a foodie at heart, so I love trying out new recipes. When I heard that All You, my absolute fave magazine, was publishing a cookbook, I jumped at the chance to review it. All You Eat Well, Save Big is filled with over 140 meals under $2.50 per serving, this is a fantastic resource for those of us trying to live within a budget. These recipes don’t skimp on meat, and are full of flavor.
I love the fact that the recipes have a reasonable number of ingredients. My eyes just glaze over when I see those ingredients lists that are ten miles long. And I also enjoyed the Smart Tips that are shared throughout the book, giving advice on choosing the perfect pot, quick and easy side dishes, how to pick the perfect produce, and much more.
Of course, what publication from All You would be complete without coupons? The following coupons are included in the back:
- $1/2 Jack Daniel’s Barbecue Sauce or EZ Marinader, exp. 12-31-10
- $1/1 Lea & Perrins Thick Classic Worcestershire Sauce, exp. 12-31-10

I’m having friends over for dinner Saturday evening and we’ll be enjoying roast sticky chicken (https://allrecipes.com/recipe/Roast-Sticky-Chicken-Rotisserie-Style/Detail.aspx), roast carrots (cut up carrots, drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper, roast until they’re not crunchy anymore….about 20 minutes on 350, about an hour with the chicken (250)), a spinach salad (spinach, craisins, maybe some almonds, maybe some cheese, vinagrette type dressing), bread provided by one of the attendees and something still undecided for dessert (but probably pie related since I got a new pie plate for Christmas).

OOoohhh I need this cookbook, hopefully I win, but if not, gonna have to buy it. I am always looking for new recipes, but too many require lots of funky ingredients that I don’t already have, and that can add up quick.
