I’ve never been a fan of scented trash bags. The scent is always so floral and overpowering, and I always feel like it rubs off on me when I’m changing a bag.

So I was very interested to learn about Hefty’s new Unscented Odor Block Technology. These trash bags help neutralize garbage odors with no added scent. I was a little skeptical as to whether it would actually reduce garbage odor, but it really does work. Even though we frequently change bags, in the past I’ve noticed that after a few trash bag changes, my trash can would start to smell less than ideal, so I’d either have to get out the Lysol or take it outside and rinse it with Clorox.

    I want a sturdy bag that doesn’t tear! It’s horrible to have a trash bag fall apart and have to clean the mess up.

    i like odor blocker bags that are stretchy and with a draw string, i try to fit as many trash as it can hold

    In the last couple of years I have sever allergies to ALL fragrances…and, have had to go fragrance free with everything…so the new Hefty bags will be great for me and my family.

    That being said, since I am also a huge re-cycler…I don’t use nearly as many bags anymore…I even recycle most of my kitchen waste for the garden…so I mostly look for economical bags.

    With a little one in diapers, we prefer the odor block bags. And we really look for trash bags that are durable and can hold everything without ripping or tearing.

    I like a trash bag to smell good and keep any juices from leaking!! The bag should also be strong.

    Great giveaway! I look for durability and a nice scent. If it’s unscented that’s fine, but if it’s too perfum’y then it turns me off from buying the product as I have bad allergies.
    These trash bags are wonderful! On a major budget saving for our wedding so winning would be great!
