I’ve never been a fan of scented trash bags. The scent is always so floral and overpowering, and I always feel like it rubs off on me when I’m changing a bag.

So I was very interested to learn about Hefty’s new Unscented Odor Block Technology. These trash bags help neutralize garbage odors with no added scent. I was a little skeptical as to whether it would actually reduce garbage odor, but it really does work. Even though we frequently change bags, in the past I’ve noticed that after a few trash bag changes, my trash can would start to smell less than ideal, so I’d either have to get out the Lysol or take it outside and rinse it with Clorox.

    I love the strechy ones with drawstrings. I use to get the cheap ones, but they kept on breaking. No bueno!

    I use the Hefty tall kitchen bags with drawstrings and odor fresh. I really like how much they hold and I can usually find them on sale with coupons making them an excellent value. I don’t like the stretchy ones. They didn’t work for me.

    I LOVE the hefty unscented odor blocking bags. I had a coupon for a box, so I thought I’d try them – was I impressed. I use them most often in my baby girl’s nursery – no more dirty diaper smell!
