I’ve never been a fan of scented trash bags. The scent is always so floral and overpowering, and I always feel like it rubs off on me when I’m changing a bag.

So I was very interested to learn about Hefty’s new Unscented Odor Block Technology. These trash bags help neutralize garbage odors with no added scent. I was a little skeptical as to whether it would actually reduce garbage odor, but it really does work. Even though we frequently change bags, in the past I’ve noticed that after a few trash bag changes, my trash can would start to smell less than ideal, so I’d either have to get out the Lysol or take it outside and rinse it with Clorox.

    The stretch kind of the MOST important for me. I hate the cheap kind that tear so easily when the trash is full.

    I like a trash bag that will fit over the rim of my trash can, but not fall in once it gets full! I hate have to dig out the bag with the trash!!

    I look for strength, a good price and something to keep odor out. I use the unscented odorblock and really like them!

    Once I find a bag that fits around the rim of my trash can, I stick with it! I hate to have my bag fall to the bottom of the can along with my trash! I’m printing that coupon, too. Hefty is one of my favorite brands.

    i look for one that won’t rip in transit and that the drawstrings will not rip when removed from the can. The flexible ones work for me but now you have me wanting to try the odor block ones!

    I like the bags that are stretchy! Seems you can fit more in there plus it’s easier to take it out of the can!
