Over the past few weeks, I’ve shared pictures and stories from our family’s recent brunch outings to Einstein Bros. Bagels. Going out to breakfast or brunch isn’t something we do very often since my boys are in school and we have sports activities on the weekends, so we all enjoyed these special treats.

With all of the recent coupons they’ve been releasing, grabbing brunch doesn’t have to be expensive either! This week, “like” Einstein Bros. on Facebook and download a BOGO coupon on bagel thin sandwiches.

    One of my friends and me have the Tuesday Breakfast tradition for almost a year now. $2 deal at Einsteins every Tuesday. The staff there knows us by name, knows what we want without saying a word and accompanied us both throughout our pregnancies and gave us good food every Tuesday. ;)

    Special breakfasts are anytime the entire family can gather including my sister and her family, our parents, and anyone else who happens to walk in the door. We always make a few breakfast casseroles (new and old favorites) and I make hot rolls for the morning. Fresh coffee for everyone. The kids ambling around adding to the general chaos. They happen when we all come home to visit but never seem to happen enough.

    Every Sunday we make a big Sunday breakfast. We make pancakes or french toast , bacon, eggs, sausage, home fries, and toast. I usually eat so much that I go back to sleep

    My kids are rather fond of pancakes and to make them extra special, I make Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes with chocolate chip faces.
