Join the Save-a-Lot Smart Shopper Club — or update your information if you’re a current member — and print a $5/$20 coupon to stretch your savings even further! Although the landing page mentions that it’s good through Thanksgiving, these coupons don’t expire until 1/10/10, so you still have time to use it.

Every reader has four methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, three, or four for up to a total of 4 entries!!!

2. Add Deal Seeking Mom to your blogroll or add my badge to your sidebar. Make sure to come back and leave the link to your site in a separate comment!

3. Join the new Deal Seeking Mom Forums to chat about your great finds, special coupon codes, and chances to win exclusive giveaways. Leave a separate comment letting me know you’ve joined or that you’re already a registered user!

4. Subscribe to my feed via RSS or email. You must confirm your email subscription for it to be a valid entry! Leave a separate comment letting me know you have done so. If you’re already a subscriber, simply leave a separate comment letting me know you’re already subscribed. Lovin’ my subscribers! You guys make this all possible.

Prize:

(1) $30 Save-a-Lot Gift Card

This giveaway ends at 1 p.m. EST on Thursday, 1/7 and is open to all U.S. residents 18 years or older. I’ll use Random.org to select the winning comment. Winner will be notified by email and listed on my Giveaway Winners page. Good luck!

I usually buy bananas when they are on sale , which is often — my 17 month old LOVES her bananas! I also buy the family size Banquet dinners. Although not the healthiest meals, it is a really cheap way to buy meat. I used my $5/$20 coupon and bought 9 Banquet entrees and a bag of apples for $15 plus tax! Paired with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies, it’s a cheap meal but filling enough for my husband!

I usually shop right after the sale paper comes out because our store has been known to run out of the featured items pretty quickly. I always look for deals on the staple items so that I can stock up…And I usually buy alot of the canned goods!

I have only shopped at Sav a Lot once in the last few years. But, we just moved back to where one is about ten minutes away. I noticed that they have good deals on veggies. I’d love to stock up on canned veggies for soups and stuff!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
