I don’t shop Save-A-Lot too often, but you can get great deals by pairing up coupons on name brand items and using the $5/$20 – as already mentioned they have the cheapest bananas around and their produce tastes great!

I go to Sav A Lot for bananas & milk – the cheapest I can find in this area. I also check out their circular for good deals. Lately, they’ve had Hillshire Farms and Jimmy Dean sausages priced nicely.

The best thing to buy at save-a-lot is perogies. They’re in the frozen food section, they are $1 a box, and you can get two meals out of them. Plus, they taste GREAT!
