I usually wait for batteries to go on sale at CVS and use my saved ECBs to purchase them. We seem to go through batteries like water, ever since my toddler came on the scene and we try to document her every move for the grandparents. :)

If your children have an XBOX 360 spend the money on the controller recharger, it is worth it!! Those controllers eat batteries!!

We’ve stocked up on the Rayovac freebies at Target, and we have some rechargeables. The camera batteries seem to always die during the holidays!

We save money by using rechargeable AA’s in toys and cameras, when we can. I also look for really good deals with coupons and sales. I wish we had more rechargeables though- I picked up a charger that does all sizes for $2 at a garage sale a while back, but only have AA’s to charge in it!

no real good ideas – stock up during sales, but we always run out before the next good sale.

I try to find the best sales and pair them with coupons.. or visit my local close out store for good buys on batteries.
I’ve had batteries die during visits to special places that I wanted to take pictures at… And that was before I got enough “smarts” to bring spares… :(

I wait until there are battaries on sale, then I use a coupon with it LOL. I had my camera batteries die @ a concert once, I was so mad!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
