I look for the best deals with coupons/ECB/Reg Rewards for batteries when I need them.

Many a times I’ve had the batteries run out in my camera when trying to take pictures of our son.

We just switched to the Eneloop batteries…they are supposed to be the best rechargeables on the market. That will hopefully save us money in the long run, cuz we did have to lay out a LOT of money in the beginning. This seems great….power when you forget to charge your batteries. :-)

We started switching to all rechargeable batteries…we still have some we use that aren’t, but we’ve already found that we’ve saved money by the rechargeable we have already started using.

We save money on batteries by looking for good sales, esp at the drugstores. We’ve unfortunately had our digital camera die on us at critical times – we now have one with a rechargeable battery pack.

I usually buy batteries with coupons only or when the go on sale. I have a tv in my bedroom and it only turns on with the remote cuz the power button on the tv is broke. So when the batteries die, theirs no tv, and sometimes i have no extra batteries on hand. But when that happens i usually read a good book. ;)

I just recently got my raincheck AA/AAA charger from when Walgreens had them on sale but ran out, and I use them as much as possible. Also, I never pay full price for batteries. There are just too many chances to get them for less or free with coupons!

We save on batteries by using the wall cord for our kids’ Leapsters.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
