I try to use rechargeable batteries for all my son’s toys, although it was a bit expensive in the beginning it’s nice being able to reuse them over and over again and from toy to toy!

My camera died right after I gave birth to my daughter. We don’t have very many pictures of her right after she was born.

We save money on batteries by purchasing from warehouse stores. Once, during a power outage, our flashlights ran our of power because we hadn’t checked the battery strength :-( No more!! Thanks!

I use coupons for batteries. I can usually get them for a pretty good price if I stock up! I had my batteries die in my camera once…that was not good – I missed lots of good pictures…

We use rechargable AA and AAA batteries for many of our electronics. Our digital camera battery died at our child’s Christmas program, very bad timing!! jenmizener at gmail dot com

I use rechargable batteries now after being at a Detroit Tigers baseball game and being on the feild to meet some of the players. Not good timing to have my batteries die at that much anticipated day. I am also a subscriber.

We typically use rechargeables to save money. We always keep regular batteries with our camera as well, and have had to make some quick battery changes at times, like at my sons preschool concert! Luckily I only missed the first few lines of one song!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
