I mentioned last week how excited my 3-year-old daughter was for the remastered Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to come out, and she was not one bit disappointed. I think we watched it 4 times the first day and at least once a day every day since. I loved watching her take such delight in a movie that I loved as a child, and I even noticed a few things that were new to me — like the fact that Snow White is wearing clogs at the beginning!

I’m also thrilled that Disney is offering the dual DVD/Blu-ray combination pack. I recently cashed in my Swag Bucks for a Playstation 3 so we now have the ability to view Blu-ray movies in our living room, but we still have the DVD edition that we can pop in the DVD player in our car for those long trips.

    Little Mermaid is my favorite and the only Disney movie i have rebought in DVD format as an adult. I’ve seen it so many times. I also really loved Lion King. I prefer the classic Disney animations to the Pixar movies of today.

    While it’s hard to pick a favorite, the Disney Movie that pops into my head first is the Lion King – I first saw it in the theatre, and then again for the re-release. I knew all dialogue by heart, and would sing the songs with my friends. I don’t watch it very often anymore, but every once in a while the dialogue or a line from a song will appear in my head!

    Sleeping Beauty – the opera singer who did the singing has an amazing voice, beautiful animation, and have for some reason always loved it.

    I remember Beauty and the Beast coming out, we LOVE it and the animation was impessively detailed for the time :D I’ve watched it too many times ;)
