Win a Snow White Limited Edition Collector’s Set (valued at $190!)

October 11, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski

SW Collector Ed
I mentioned last week how excited my 3-year-old daughter was for the remastered Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to come out, and she was not one bit disappointed. I think we watched it 4 times the first day and at least once a day every day since. I loved watching her take such delight in a movie that I loved as a child, and I even noticed a few things that were new to me — like the fact that Snow White is wearing clogs at the beginning!

I’m also thrilled that Disney is offering the dual DVD/Blu-ray combination pack. I recently cashed in my Swag Bucks for a Playstation 3 so we now have the ability to view Blu-ray movies in our living room, but we still have the DVD edition that we can pop in the DVD player in our car for those long trips.

I’ve got a special treat for all of you Snow White and/or Disney fans out there!

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Snow White Limited Edition Collector’s Set, valued at $190, which includes:

  • Diamond Edition combo pack
  • The Making of a Masterpiece collector’s book
  • 8 piece character pin set
  • 7 piece lithograph set

To enter, tell me which Disney movie is your favorite. Do you remember when you first saw it? How many times have you watched it over the years?

I’m an avid collector of disney movies, but the one that sticks out in my head is Lion King. When it first came out me and mom sat down to watch it and cried.

My all-time favorite is definitely Cinderella. I’ve watched it since I was about four and I still don’t get tired of watching it with my 3-year-old!

My family loves to watch 101 Dalmations together. It helps that my 1 year old is really into dogs and can say puppy so it keeps his interest and we can all sit down instead of dividing our attention and our space.

My favorite Disney movies are the ones that predate the cartoons. As a kid we loved Swiss Family Robinson (and it was pretty old even back then). We watched it for the first time when it was a Disney Sunday Night Movie. Remember that? Every Sunday at 7 (I think it was) there was a Disney movie on TV. We watched them while we ate dinner on the little 4 inch black and white over the antenna b/c that was the only TV that we could put in the dining room!

My favorite Disney movie has to be Aladdin. I couldn’t tell you the number of times that I have seen it (Numerous!). I am so excited that they keep remastering the old movies so we can now share them with our kids.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
