I mentioned last week how excited my 3-year-old daughter was for the remastered Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to come out, and she was not one bit disappointed. I think we watched it 4 times the first day and at least once a day every day since. I loved watching her take such delight in a movie that I loved as a child, and I even noticed a few things that were new to me — like the fact that Snow White is wearing clogs at the beginning!

I’m also thrilled that Disney is offering the dual DVD/Blu-ray combination pack. I recently cashed in my Swag Bucks for a Playstation 3 so we now have the ability to view Blu-ray movies in our living room, but we still have the DVD edition that we can pop in the DVD player in our car for those long trips.

    My favorite Disney movie is Beauty & the Beast. It’s so magical. My mom brought me when I was younger to see it done as a play and every time it comes out, I go again. I could never get sick of watching the romance unfold!

    My all time favorite classic Disney movie is Cinderella. I love going to Disney as a child and as an adult and seeing all the princesses, but it made my day to see Cinderella in front of me.

    I love all Disney movies but my very favorite is Beauty and the Beast. That one came out when I was in 9th grade and it’s still my favorite.

    The first Disney movie I ever remember seeing was Bambi in the theatre in 1974. It was a special treat for me way back then to go to the movies, a fact which is lost on my kids in the age of VHS, DVD, Blu Ray and who knows what it next! Anyway, about 30 minutes into the movie the projector caught on fire and the theatre was evacuated. I was devistated and at the time did not understand what had happened and what I had done to have my special outing with mom taken away. I am still a sucker or Bambi to this day, 35 years later!

    My Favorit disney movie was the Jungle Book(cartoon version) I loved when Baloo is singing to Mogli about the BearNecessities. He is dancing and clapping his hangs and telling him Mogli what he needs to know to be a bear. Love it.

    Beauty and the Beast. I fell in love with Belle’s dress and worn it hundreds of times when I was small. I loved the scene with Belle’s singing in the field. And to understand the amazing talent that went into that movie makes it even better!

    It’s a tie for favorite Disney movie – Mary Poppins and The Happiest Millionaire. Love them both, and I have watched them both at least 100 times – been enjoying them both for years.

    My favorite Disney movie is Lion King. I would watch that over and over. My friends & I knew every single song by heart. Oh, it makes me want to go watch it right now!!!

    I Love Sleeping Beauty. I saw it at the theatre when I was a child. It wasn’t until years later when it came out on VHS that I realized what an impact it had on me. My two favorite names have always been Phillip and Aurora. I had just forgotten why because I hadn’t seen it in years and the princess is always referred to as Sleeping Beauty.
