Win a Snow White Limited Edition Collector’s Set (valued at $190!)

October 11, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski

SW Collector Ed
I mentioned last week how excited my 3-year-old daughter was for the remastered Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to come out, and she was not one bit disappointed. I think we watched it 4 times the first day and at least once a day every day since. I loved watching her take such delight in a movie that I loved as a child, and I even noticed a few things that were new to me — like the fact that Snow White is wearing clogs at the beginning!

I’m also thrilled that Disney is offering the dual DVD/Blu-ray combination pack. I recently cashed in my Swag Bucks for a Playstation 3 so we now have the ability to view Blu-ray movies in our living room, but we still have the DVD edition that we can pop in the DVD player in our car for those long trips.

I’ve got a special treat for all of you Snow White and/or Disney fans out there!

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Snow White Limited Edition Collector’s Set, valued at $190, which includes:

  • Diamond Edition combo pack
  • The Making of a Masterpiece collector’s book
  • 8 piece character pin set
  • 7 piece lithograph set

To enter, tell me which Disney movie is your favorite. Do you remember when you first saw it? How many times have you watched it over the years?

I love Mulan. I watched it with my oldest daughter 11 years ago on a rainy day on the Cape. She was three and this was her first movie at the theatre. We sat in the theatre well past when everyone else had left, sobbing with joy for what this young girl had accomplished with her friends. After the movie, my daughter was playing in the photo booth in the loby and she found a picture in the slot that someone had left behind because it was just their eyes and hair. My daughter showed it to me with excitement and said, “We really are Mulan now Mumma”, because the picture was of two Asian girls!

Beauty and the Beast. The Beauty and the Beast song will be the song my dad and I dance to at my upcoming wedding because I made him watch it with me so many times when I was younger. :)

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
