W always make chili for a big party – it’s pretty inexpensive and feeds a lot of people.

I love potlucks where I do the main dish and everyone else brings sides. Plus, just serving lemonade or tea is cheaper than other drinks. You can jazz it up by fresh fruit and no one will miss the sodas.

    Blessings to you,

I try to make snack foods from whatever I’ve gotten on sale that week… ie pigs in a blanket if crescent rolls were on sale.

I buy my appetizers at BJs – I try to stick to items that I have coupons for and then it’s really a good deal!

I think having a potluck is best. Everyone can bring something to the table and there is a lot of variety this way and best of all, the cost isn’t put on just one person!

My Dad raises beef cattle so I always have a half of a cow in my freezer so I will do something with beef and ask others to bring the accessories.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...
