My absolute favorite is sweet potato casserole. But it has to have the brown sugar pecan topping, no marshmallows for me. Have to have whole berry cranberry sauce with the turkey too.

That’s a tough one because I love everything. I would have to say it’s a toss-up between the turkey & stuffing and pumpkin pie. Thank you for the giveaway.

First I want to say how touching post number 8 by Shirley was that she appreciates the uneaten dish and the effort someone put into making it.
More important than any food on the table now is the memories of Thanksgiving dinners past made with love by my mother who is no longer physically with us but always in our thoughts especially as family gathers for holidays.
    Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

My favorite part of Thanksgiving is that my husband wants to do most of the cooking. We all work together in the kitchen, which is fun – making a huge dinner together. But he does all the planning and coordinating (and most of the eating ha), and even some of the cleanup.

I can make one heck of a turkey. That would have to be my favorite food on Thanksgiving. I love smelling it cooking all day. The sides aren’t too bad either, lol.

I love the traditional dishes during Thanksgiving; Turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce. But my favorite dish is dessert…Apple Caramel Pie from Costco. I gain about 5 lbs. on Thanksgiving day.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
