Which Grocery Stores Double Coupons?

May 24, 2011 by Tara Kuczykowski 837 Comments

One of the questions I’m asked most frequently these days is, “Which grocery stores double coupons in [my area]?” I’ve generally been responding by telling them to contact their local stores and ask what their policy is — but today it occurred to me that perhaps we could create a resource that will save everyone a little time and energy.

So to that end, I’d like to compile a list of grocery stores that double by state, and I need your help. Please scroll down and leave a comment on this post with your state and any grocery stores that you know of that double coupons.

I’ll use the information to create a resource that will allow users to easily look up their state and find out which stores will double coupons. Thanks for your help!

Indianapolis Area: Kroger, Meijer & Marsh double up to $.50 every day. Kroger and Meijer have limits that they only double 2 of the same coupon per transaction (not sure about Marsh). And now Kroger additionally limits you to no more than 10 like coupons per transaction.
Meijer has no limit on how many of their store coupons I can print and use in the same transaction…YAY!

Upstate South Carolina: Publix and Ingles both double up to .50 cents, Bi-lo doubles up to .60 cents (they have a great Fuel Perks program too) Ingles has had triple coupons in the past averaging 2x per year. Bloom (which is owned by Food Lion) has doubled in the past, but they are restructuring and I think they have pulled that perk. HTH
