Which Grocery Stores Double Coupons?

May 24, 2011 by Tara Kuczykowski 837 Comments

One of the questions I’m asked most frequently these days is, “Which grocery stores double coupons in [my area]?” I’ve generally been responding by telling them to contact their local stores and ask what their policy is — but today it occurred to me that perhaps we could create a resource that will save everyone a little time and energy.

So to that end, I’d like to compile a list of grocery stores that double by state, and I need your help. Please scroll down and leave a comment on this post with your state and any grocery stores that you know of that double coupons.

I’ll use the information to create a resource that will allow users to easily look up their state and find out which stores will double coupons. Thanks for your help!

In San Diego, Ca, Von’s doubles up to $1 total. Albertson’s has been running specials lately to double up to $1, but you have to clip a “double coupon” from their ad.

I also think that bringing couponers together would be a good step for some people. I am from Guthrie, OK and I do not know anyone around here that does coupons. It would be nice to compare notes!

    ShopRite
    Stop & Shop
    Price Chopper

all will double coupons up to 99-cents. I believe Hannaford does, too, but I’ll have to check…

On EXTREMELY RARE occasions, they will have their own store coupon in the weekly flyer that allows you to TRIPLE coupons, as long as your mfr. coupons accompany their special “tripling” coupon.
