One of the questions I’m asked most frequently these days is, “Which grocery stores double coupons in [my area]?” I’ve generally been responding by telling them to contact their local stores and ask what their policy is — but today it occurred to me that perhaps we could create a resource that will save everyone a little time and energy.
So to that end, I’d like to compile a list of grocery stores that double by state, and I need your help. Please scroll down and leave a comment on this post with your state and any grocery stores that you know of that double coupons.
I’ll use the information to create a resource that will allow users to easily look up their state and find out which stores will double coupons. Thanks for your help!

Rainbow Foods in the Twin Cities area (Minneapolis / St Paul MN) will double anything up to a dollar – but there is a catch: you can only double 5 coupons per transaction and you have to spend $25 on rach transaction before coupons.

Copps and Pick N Save in Wisconsin are owned by the same company that owns Rainbow Foods. They have the same exact policy where they will double up to and including a $1.00 if you purchase at least $25.00 and no more than 5 will double. Although there have been occasions where they will double up to 10, but it’s not often. They double on Wednesdays and currently until the end the last Saturday in April. And no more than 3 can be the same.

Schnucks in Springfield Illinois will double 8 coupons in any one transaction. Only those coupons which are .40 cents or less will double. Example a.35 cent coupon doubles to .70 but a .50 cent does not double at all

None of the King Soopers, Safeways, or Walmart Double Coupons in the Bouler County Area. I do most of my shopping trips out of the area for this reason.

Piggly Wiggly in SC doubles coupons up to 99 cents as long as the doubled price doesn’t exceed the price of the product. If it does, they don’t double it at all.

In Louisville,Ky:
Krogers: Will double any coupon under 50 cents up to $1.00.
Meijer: Will double any coupon under 50 cents up to $1.00. But only 2 like coupons in a transaction will double after that it’s face value.
Wal-Mart: Will price match if you have the sale flyer.

I live in Northern, VA (right outside of DC). Giant and Shoppers doubles any coupon up to .99cents, unless it states “do not double”. Very liberal!

I’m in the Central NY region (Utica area) and our Price Choppers double up to 99 cents as well.
We also have a local grocery store called Chanatrys that doubles up to 50 cents, but they don’t take internet coupons.

I would like to find a store that does double coupons in salt lake city utah. but where it stands now none of the ones I called does double coupons I called smiths, walmart, fresh market, and macys. macys said the only way they will double is if you had a in store coupon and a manufacturer”s coupon.

The Price Choppers in NH and VT also double coupons up to 99 cents. No limit on the number of coupons you can use.

Giant- doubles up to .50 on each coupon so if a coupon is .55 then they double to .45 making the product 1.00 off.
Wegmans doubles up to .99.

My Giant (Allentown area) will only double two of the same coupon per transaction. So if you have 4 of the same cereal coupon for 50 cents they only double two and the other two are for face value only.
