Which Grocery Stores Double Coupons?

May 24, 2011 by Tara Kuczykowski 837 Comments

One of the questions I’m asked most frequently these days is, “Which grocery stores double coupons in [my area]?” I’ve generally been responding by telling them to contact their local stores and ask what their policy is — but today it occurred to me that perhaps we could create a resource that will save everyone a little time and energy.

So to that end, I’d like to compile a list of grocery stores that double by state, and I need your help. Please scroll down and leave a comment on this post with your state and any grocery stores that you know of that double coupons.

I’ll use the information to create a resource that will allow users to easily look up their state and find out which stores will double coupons. Thanks for your help!

Right now local Food Fair chains in houston are doubling .36 to .50 and trippling up to .35. I do not know how long this promotion will last.

Piggly Wiggly Carolina just started a new double coupon policy that covers all of their stores in SC and coastal GA. They double up to .99 cents, no more that 4 of the same item, limit 10 doubles per day.

I’m in St. Louis, MO, Krogers, Dierbergs and Schnucks all double coupons but only to 40 cents. Krogers I believe will double to 99 cents. Our Walmarts is not one that is doubling. I ask today.

Every now and then K Mart will doulbe upto .99 Watch your local ad for this. I live in northern Mi and our local market Glens Market does not double, and have really high prices, if they did double they might be Walmart price.
I am sure most Kroger’s double coupons, in Mi anyways.. All stores need to get on the band wagon don’t you think?

I live in Illinois and work in Indiana, I love Kroger food chain BUT I am sooo disappointed, they only double 50 cent coupons and ONLY the first two!!! I see where some of the Krogers across the country double coupons more than just two, I wish Indiana would try to help out!! Schnucks in Illinois will double up to 40 cents the first 40.

In Illinois, sometimes Meijer does. You have to check the weekly flier and look in the lower left hand corner of the Pharmacy section. This is the answer I received today when I called the store!

Ok, Southern California sucks for double coupons. Albertsons does 2 double per transaction up to $1. And Ralphs and Vons will not double more than one coupon for the same item. Anyone know of any stores in So Cal that don’t limit the doubling to one of the same item?

Dollar General not only stacks coupons if one is theirs;but once every two weeks they have a 5.00 off 25.00 coupon and they dont mind seperate orders. Bi-lo doubles up to 60 off and stackes manf , e-coupons and other store coupon in their area, Ingles doubles 10 per items(only 2 can be internet coup.)up to 50 cents . Twice a year they triple their coupons ;but there is no set time. You have to watch their ad.I believe Freds chain doubles also. I live in Chattanooga ,tn. Bi-lo will accept even Target and other coupons.

Even though they aren’t coupons ,Walmart is doing layaway for Christmas,Freds does layaway all year, sear and k-mart do layaway all year. Check other in your area. * weeks sure helps on large ticket items or large orders. Some stores even give you the sale or rollback price at the pick up time.As iI said before ,I live in Tennessee.
