Which Grocery Stores Double Coupons?

May 24, 2011 by Tara Kuczykowski 837 Comments

One of the questions I’m asked most frequently these days is, “Which grocery stores double coupons in [my area]?” I’ve generally been responding by telling them to contact their local stores and ask what their policy is — but today it occurred to me that perhaps we could create a resource that will save everyone a little time and energy.

So to that end, I’d like to compile a list of grocery stores that double by state, and I need your help. Please scroll down and leave a comment on this post with your state and any grocery stores that you know of that double coupons.

I’ll use the information to create a resource that will allow users to easily look up their state and find out which stores will double coupons. Thanks for your help!

I’m in the Bay Area of California, and apparently our K-Mart will double. I went to the one in Hayward, the week after the doubling event and asked if they double. The cashier said they do, only a few weeks out of the year, and that I had just missed it ;)

I’m new to couponing, so I didn’t know to ask the limits or anything. I’d suppose it would be the same as the others, but I’m not sure.

I did call and e-mail K-Mart to see if I could find out when their next even would be, but the said they didn’t know yet.

    Thanks for the list!!

Hi Karen! This is so exciting! Do you know if they double any coupon or only up to a certain value. Also, do you know if they are still not accepting P&G coupons?

    San Diego, CA
Ralph stores double up to $1.00, Vons only doubles the first like coupon also up to $1.00, plus Vons only takes 2 like coupons in one transaction. Bummer. Albertsons out here does not double any coupons, however they just recently started a new coupon store booklet that sometimes can have a store coupon that allows you to double any 1 coupon up to $1.00, but you have to have this store coupon in order to do this.

Publix and Winn Dixie will let you use two coupons on your BOGO deals, one for each item. Not extreme like on TV, but I have found some pretty good deals.

    Paducah, KY

Krogers doubles up to .60 every day.
They don’t do overages. I.E., If you have a .55 coupon and the item is on sale for .99, the receipt will show .55 and then .44, so you will get that item free.
