Walmart Deals New 3/5/09

March 5, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 27 Comments

Wal-Mart.com USA, LLC

Here are the newest deals to be found at Walmart! For the full list of current deals check out the Walmart Deals page!

Keep in mind that Walmart’s prices vary by region, even by store within the same area, but generally they are reasonably close to the listed prices. Also, be aware that at times the coupons themselves may vary by region.

You may find it helpful to print out and carry a copy of the Walmart corporate coupon policy with you.

Don’t forget to pop over to see what Erin at $5 Dinners is cooking up with her Walmart purchases this week!

Have you found any stellar bargains at Walmart lately? Please feel free to email me so I can share them (while giving you credit, of course)! Along the same lines, if you find a deal is no longer valid because the coupon has expired or reached its print limit, it’s very helpful if you let me know so I can keep it current. Thanks for your help!

GRRR…..my wal-mart does not except printable Q’s anymore; nor does our Randalls (tom thumb). That’s a huge loss of savings.

Hi. I just got all my coupons together that you have listed, and I went to Walmart… but none of those items were on sale. I’m confused. I’m in Texas. Are sale dates different in different regions?

Jennifer, Walmart doesn’t do sales. They do rollbacks, and they don’t publish an ad every week, so this makes them a very tough store to cover.

Several of the deals listed above are directly from the ad from this past weekend and should be good just about anywhere (Rubbermaid and Scrubbing Bubbles to name a few), but others are reported deals from forums and readers from various locations.

Walmart’s prices vary by location as I indicate in every post, so you may or may not find exactly the same price at your local stores. Generally they are close, but there are occasions where they can vary widely as well.

Thanks for the info on all these great deals! I tried to print the Kashi coupon, but when I clicked the link, it told me the page was no longer available.

I found the Johnson Buddy Bars for $.97, but that was the only thing. The Gillette body wash had a rollback sign on it, but it said $3.50. There weren’t any Purell hand sanitizers in the trial section, just GermX. So sad. I really appreciate all of y’alls’ help and time put into this website. :o)

The Purell is probably up near the cash registers, and the body wash is a special size. It’s kind of in between a trial size and the full size. I’ll check out the Kashi coupon, Shelly!

I am really disappointed. The Purina coupon won’t print. I’ve tried about 6 times and when I get to the download screen, it won’t work. Any ideas?

Bonnie, I believe I had trouble when I did it when they were doing the $4 coupons. I went back later and it worked, but if not, maybe you can email them to mail it to you.

    Hey Everyone!

On your next trip to WalMart, look for Mentos spearmint gum at the checkouts. It is on clearance for 1.00. You should have 1.00 Qs from a recent insert. Happy chewing!

I don’t go to WalMart that often since I get better deals @ grocery stores and CVS and Wags, but when I do I bring my DSM list with me! Unfortunately , I never do as well as I hope b/c of higher prices or they simply do not have that item, but I do find other items I have to have ; ) .

I enjoy this site soo much. It helps me tremendously.

My walmart (TX) refuses Internet coupons as of today!!! It was unbelievable since I just used those last weeks and when I came back, the cashiers said they no longer accept them (even the manager said so). I’m so disappointed at Walmart since on the website no change on using Int-coupons seemed to be made:(

Oh, you’re right, Karen. I didn’t catch that they changed the wording on the newest coupon. The one from 1/11 should work though.

Dimpleangel, you should contact Walmart customer service. They haven’t changed the corporate policy, and the stores are wrong if they refuse the coupons.

Hi…..just got a 3 column template so I am happy to be grabbing your button! Yeah, finally!

Just got back from Walmart, while I got the Suave lotion deal too, an even sweeter deal is the Suave 1.4 oz deodorant , buy 3 with the $2 off of 3 products and get them for 27 cents each. That is inexpensive deodorant!

I just got my Huggies wipes for $0.32!!! :) Thanks! I had gotten the generic brand the day before I saw this coupon and you better believe I returned them!
Crystal, I’ve only seen 7th generation on Amazon.com. I’ve ordered their wipes before. I thought they were fine. Very soft, but not as thick as Huggies brand. I love their dishwasher detergent.

@dealseekingmom, I called the store manager, and he said they wouldn’t accept it. At the store, the employees said the manager had the right to refuse coupons. End of the story. Walmart is the only retailer that is close to my dorm ; otherwise, I ‘d boycott walmart from time now on!!!

Wal Mart’s corporate policy says the *DO* take internet coupons, and if a particular store refuses them I think I’d notify corporate via their website.

Our WalMart is ALWAYS at LEAST 10 cents higher on these lists, and usually more like .38 or more. Quite a rip-off.

I hate WalMart anyway….these are only two more reasons WHY…

Hi This is for Jennifer and any others that are frustrated with the wide variance in Walmart prices. I have a fairly new Walmart Supercenter in my town, and I always thought the prices were awesome until I happened to start comparing them with a Walmart about 20 miles away. The variance is small on some items, but on some it is well worth the twenty mile drive.
Maybe try looking at neighboring Walmarts? Apparently the more competition Walmart has , the better the deals.

I was disappointed that the only place that carries 7th gen wipes is Publix and they are like $4+! I was looking forward to getting free wipes! lol

As far as walmart not taking coupons, my super walmart said the same thing, and next time I go Im going to take a copy of walmarts coupon policy with me and see if that helps (who knows)
Although a regular walmart has yet to tell me they dont.

I was refused using the $5.00 off Iams kitten food last night because the product was less than the coupon ($4.87). The supervisor said they are not supposed to accept any coupon more than the product cost. This is the first time this has happened at Wal-mart as I have gotten several things free with an overage before. Has anyone else had this problem?

I’ve heard of it happening from time to time. Not all stores will give overage, but the correct thing to do is to adjust the coupon down to the price of the item, not refuse it altogether. Sorry that happened!
