I don’t think the math is right for the Cheerios. Use the SS coupon for $0.50 off each and the Food Lion for $1.00 off each. So it’s 1.50 off each or $3 off total and the cost is 3.99. So you get two boxes for 0.99. Now that is an awesome deal, but not free.

Gloria, it will depend on your stores. Jenny’s store doubles coupons, so the $0.50 coupons are worth $1 for her.

Oh so sorry. I didn’t know that. How do you know out if your store doubles? A Publix just opened here and I haven’t tried them yet.

That’s okay, Gloria! I’m sure you could call the new store and just ask, or it might even be listed in their ad. I hope they do!

Publix hates children! We formed a boycott on Publix after they called the Sheriff’s Dept when our kids were doing a fundraiser we haven’t been back since it happened last August and don’t plan to.
Count your blessings you don’t have one in Ohio. I agree they are way overpriced. Super Walmart for all of us now.

I usually looooove Publix, but today was not good. I went to my usual one and I used my coupons. There were 4 lines open and it was lunchtime so I skipped the ones with people buying a few items and I chose to one with the lady buying over 200.00 worth of stuff. I waited patiently with my 5 mo old and 18 mo old and then when it was finally my turn, I cheerfully sorted my coupons so she could see which ones went with what items. She had trouble with the max coupons for items and needed approval. So she turns to the lady that had walked up behind me and says…Oh were you in a hurry today ma’am, I’m so sorry this happened to you. I thought it was so rude since I had just waited through the other transaction and she never asked me that….I am the one with the 2 monkies. I was not even in an express or anything. I just didn’t get what the deal was. Anyone else ever had that happen?

Publixs does NOT double coupons here in Englewood Florida.
They do not take computer generated coupons over $1.00.

    Cheap and Stupid! Publixs sucks

I’m in the Charleston, SC area. I asked at the counter, and ever since have been using the coupons, and they do indeed double them up to .50c where I’m at. I’m sorry I wasn’t more specific about location.
