The coupon for the market umbrella says you cannot combine it with other coupons (though I did try giving the cashier the $5 off $25 coupon first). I still took mine home for a little over $13. Not bad!

My husband and I got one of these Sunday when the sale started. It will be great at the beach this summer. I was worried if they would allow us to use both coupons but they did, no problem! $5 is a great deal!

Got one for $.45! Was shocked it worked, and since they had a dozen left, I went back home to print some more coupons. (I know, should have done that beforehand!) When I went back, a different cashier came over and said “Can’t use more than one internet coupon at a time and only one internet coupon per customer. And you already used one earlier, sorry….” Grrrrrrrr….

So, I went to Rite Aid on my lunch break and they had one Hula umbrella left! When I tried to use both coupons the cashier said I could not. So, I said use the $25 umbrella coupon which would make the price of the umbrella $4.99. Well, she price modified it to $14.99 (which it states on the coupon after you take $25 off of the price). I tried to explain to her that it should be $25 off of $29.99, not $39.99. But she was even more confused and the line was getting longer! So, I said never mind, I don’t want it. Which I didn’t need it but if I could’ve got it for $5.00 or less then I would have. Oh well……thanks for the tip though TARA!

It’s a really cute umbrella if anyone is wondering. If you can get it for free or for $4.99 then go for it! Good luck!

I just came back frm RA, I was able to use both Q’s but the manager rang the $25 Q in as $15 because the umbrella was already marked down to 29.99. He would not give me $25 off. So I payed $9.99 pus tax. Not bad, but was expecting alot less!!

I just came back from RA on my lunch. They wouldn’t let me use both Q’s either! I bought 2 pks of Trident gum BOGO, plus $1Q and the Hula umbrella. Got it all for $5.58. Oh well, cheaper than $39.99!!

just came from rite aid and they only would let me use one coupon. they wouldn’t let me use both so i used the 25 dollar off coupon obviously and got it for 7.50ish. wish i could have gotten it for free like everyone else, but they said no.

Oh, they also gave me the excuse as to why they wouldn’t take the coupons because it said it “expires 6/23/09”. I thought I could use the coupon through the 23rd?

I just walked out of the store with an umbrella for 33 cents! Cool deal! Thanks for the info and link. If I had read about just one coupon per transaction, I would have just used the $25 one, but the clerk studied the coupons after seeing the total (she was in shock), and didn’t notice that part either. It’s done now, and I have a fun umbrella for next to nothing.

I used both coupons and got the hula umbrella for free, and I used the market umbrella one – that was $25.00 but still a good deal. Thanks

Thanks for the information…I took all the kids with me and they let me use both coupons for each umbrella, snagged 6 of them total and spent nothing! (my total ended up being -.01 for each transaction, I told them to keep the penny:)

You are a genius! I threw mine on the burning pile last fall. My husband couldn’t repair it any more. I felt good about it then but this year I wasn’t sure how I was going to squeeze $50.00 – $100.00 out of our budget for a new one. I hopped right on this deal. It was an answer to a prayer.

Susan!! Wish I had your Rite Aid!! Mine wouldn’t let my kids check out, so that we could get a few more umbrellas!!!! Said “one per customer and you’re it!”

(Called Rite Aid’s 800# a while ago. Will let you know where that goes! :( !)

Hi. I live in N.C. and the rite aid here in HICKORY will not let you use both coupons, so I just used the$ 25.00 off one . It still only cost around$ 5.00. I THINK THATS STILL AWESOME. I LOVE MINE.

You and me both!! That’s why I called the #. I know this was an “iffy” deal. But you’re gonna tell me my kids can’t be customers??? It didn’t say one per household.

Ok … were were able to use both coupons and brought home four umbrellas. We did this with the manager helping us. She was restocking the shelves because myself and another customer were doing the same deal.

Now my question is what suggestions do you have for really getting these to stay in the ground?

We are doing a birthday party for my son next month and would like to provide some shade in the yard.

Just did it on my lunch…worked like magic! After (crazy high CA) tax, paid $0.45! The cashier was really impressed, and now we have a great umbrella to shade the kiddie pool at my daughter’s birthday party next month.

Thanks so much for the heads up!

No luck here. They were going to let me use 2 coupons, but then wouldn’t let me use the $25 coupon, since it was already on sale. ???

This may be a dumb question, but
Can you use Rite Aide coupons at walgreens? I thought they were affiliates.
