National Fresh Breath Day Giveaway #SonicareChallenge

August 6, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Today is National Fresh Breath Day, a day to discuss the importance of oral hygiene, and the importance of having minty fresh breath. Coincidentally, it also happens to be my 6-year-old daughter’s birthday — just look at those beautiful, pearly whites thanks to her new Sonicare for Kids toothbrush! (Happy Birthday, Baby!!!)

Seriously, this was a child that I battled with regularly over brushing her teeth, and she’s now thrilled to brush her teeth every morning, noon, and night. These brushes are on the pricey side, but the savings we’re sure to see on dental bills makes them a much more reasonable proposition. Three cheers for clean teeth without any arguments!

In celebration of National Fresh Breath Day, Sonicare would like to give one lucky Deal Seeking Mom two Sonicare brush head refills for the Sonicare toothbrush of your choice!

To enter, just tell me what teeth brushing is like in your household. Are you a three-times-a-day brusher? Is it a struggle to get your kids to brush their teeth regularly?

This giveaway ends at 11:59 a.m. ET on Monday, August 9th and is open to all U.S. residents 18 years or older. I’ll use Comment Contest to select the winning comment. Winner will be notified by email and listed on my Giveaway Winners page. Winners must respond within 24 hours of notification to claim their prize. Good luck!

To find more chances to win, check out all of the #SonicareChallenge action on Twitter, Whrrl, and SonicareChallenge.com!

Adults use sonicare, children use character brushes, but it is a struggle. I might have to give the children sonicares a try. We love ours. I feel like I went to the dentist each time I brush.

It is getting more difficult for my 3 yr. old. He is always too busy, always has something else to do instead. Eventually we get him to brush, but it is quite a chore!

We just bought new Sonicare brushes for the adults and LOVE them! Kids still use the character brushes and they love brushing. I only push for two times a day because they are both under 5.

We get the kids to brush twice a day but are still having problems with cavities. We should try the sonicare brushes.

My son doesn’t like brushing his teeth. I made a chart for a two week period. If he brushes his teeth without complaining for two weeks, we go to the toy store and pick out a toy. This is working. I hope it continues to work.

It is pretty much a struggle everyday to get my 3 year old to brush his teeth. We are thinking of switching to Sonicare for the whole family and my 3 year old is very interested in the idea.

My toddler loves to brush – he’d seriously brush 10 times a day if I let him. My teens on the other hand wouldn’t notice if I threw their toothbrushes away…

Happy Birthday to your daughter and my son as well – he’s two today :0)

My kids would brush their teeth all day if I let them. We just purchased them toothbrushes similar to Sonicare and it has made it worse. I guess there are worse things they could be doing:)
