I talked a little bit the other day about how we’ve learned to stick to our budget yet still treat ourselves by using coupons. The Entertainment Book is one of our favorite resources for recreational coupons.

    I use the money I save using coupons for everyday needs like grocery items and things like shampoo and conditioner on what I call “luxury” items for our kids. Things like shirts from Hollister and abercrombie and other overpriced “hip” stores. I always shop the sale rack (when they have them) and hunt for coupons (which they NEVER seem to have) but still knowing I saved $27 at the grocery with coupons makes it easier to by my 12 year old a tee shirt that’s been clearanced to $20!

    We love to eat out, I know every restaurant in town that offers free kids meals! Many times we can go out to a sit down restaurant for the same price as a fast food joint.
