I talked a little bit the other day about how we’ve learned to stick to our budget yet still treat ourselves by using coupons. The Entertainment Book is one of our favorite resources for recreational coupons.
A quick flip through my local 2010 Entertainment Book reveals that it’s packed full of BOGO coupons for restaurants we love, as well as big savings at local movie theaters, theme parks, and even retail stores like Aeropostale and World Market. The price is more than worth the savings to be gained from it. Plus you can now register online and you’ll have access to more local coupons that are updated throughout the year!
Three lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers will win a copy of the 2010 Entertainment Book for their hometown, each packed with hundreds of discounts and coupons!
To enter, tell me what you splurge on with the money you save from couponing and living frugally! Do you love to eat out? Do you have a favorite dessert or coffee drink that you can’t resist? Do you love expensive purses or fashion accessories?
Every reader has four methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, three, or four for up to a total of 4 entries!!!

I splurge on lunches. I am way too lazy to make my lunch every day, so I always wind up buying it. I would much rather splurge on pedicures.

I splurge on small home accents. Changing up a bookshelf or the mantel can really change the look and feel of the room. It’s only a seasonal splurge though. ) :

Hmm….let’s see – I’d have to say it’d be tough to splurge when I always LOVE it when my grocery bill for the week is low low low low … I guess if I HAD to spend it, it’d be on a haircut so I wouldn’t be scraggly again in another month (I had my hair cut when school started and vowed not to get scraggly again!).
thanx for all you do.

Sadly, my splurging is a two parter… Some months, if I’ve saved enough, I have a little maintanence work done on my car- or I spend what money I have saved to take care of a repair that has cropped up, which they often do. My real, honest splurge is Sonic Diet Coke with Diet Cherry. If I’m feeling extremely flush with money, I will get two or three 1/2 price ones at Happy Hour on a Saturday and I stay happy all weekend long. There’s just something about that ice…..

I splurge at the salon – typically just my hair cut and color, but sometimes (if they’re running a great special) a massage or facial! :)

I just subscribed to your blog via email!!! I’ve been checking it daily for weeks now, so this will be even easier – thank you!!! :)

I really like splurging on MAC make up. It may be a waste but it makes me feel pretty and in fashion.
