Toluna Accepting Applications (Paid Surveys)

August 5, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 14 Comments

I’m not that familiar with Toluna Survey Panel personally, but they came up quite frequently when I recently asked DSM readers about their favorite survey sites. From what I gather, you earn points for taking surveys and sharing your opinions that can be redeemed for gift cards, monthly sweepstakes tickets, or cash payments.

If this sounds like something you’d like to try, fill out the Toluna application now to get started. If you have experience with Toluna, I’d love to hear your feedback in the comments!

BTW, it looks like Pinecone Research is still open right now, so be sure to apply there if you haven’t already as well.

Pinecone Research Open Again (Paid Surveys)

July 29, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 13 Comments

Pinecone Research

The Pinecone Research application is open right now! I know many of you have been asking when they’d be taking applications again, so now is your chance.

Pinecone pays in a timely manner at a rate of $3 per survey via check or Paypal, and they often have product tests that go along with the surveys, so they’re definitely one of the best survey companies to get on board with.

PLEASE NOTE: If you’ve applied to Pinecone recently, do not fill out the application form again. I’ve been working closely with them, and they let me know that this creates more work for them as they process the applications when they have to weed out multiple registrations.

Synovate Global Opinion Research (Paid Surveys)

July 21, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 19 Comments

Many of you have written asking for other legitimate survey companies similar to Pinecone Research. While I’d consider Pinecone to be in a league of their own, Synovate Global Opinion Research is another survey company that I used to take surveys through a few years back.

The main difference between Pinecone and Synovate is that you will not earn cash for every survey. With Synovate, you’ll earn points that you can redeem for cash once you reach a specified threshold.

Keeping in mind that I haven’t had time to take many surveys lately, I remember the redemption levels to be fairly attainable and the frequency of surveys to be moderate. I also recall being offered product tests from time to time, along with more in depth focus group opportunities, both offering points toward cash.

If you have a more recent experience with Synovate, I’d love to hear your thoughts and opinions on them!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
