Pinecone Research Open Again (Paid Surveys)

July 29, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 13 Comments

Pinecone Research

The Pinecone Research application is open right now! I know many of you have been asking when they’d be taking applications again, so now is your chance.

Pinecone pays in a timely manner at a rate of $3 per survey via check or Paypal, and they often have product tests that go along with the surveys, so they’re definitely one of the best survey companies to get on board with.

PLEASE NOTE: If you’ve applied to Pinecone recently, do not fill out the application form again. I’ve been working closely with them, and they let me know that this creates more work for them as they process the applications when they have to weed out multiple registrations.

    Pinecone Research is great–the check arrives in the mail just a few days later. I haven’t signed up to be paid by Paypal, because my Pp account is a business one. I don’t want any fees being taken out of a $3 check! :)

    Hi, I registered with Pinecone a few months ago, and didn’t realize that the first survey when to my junk mail folder. Because of that, my account was registered as inactive. If I register again, will it work? Or does anyone have any suggestions?

    Pinecone is not my top earner but is my fave. They don’t send any I do not qualify for so they don’t waste my time like the others. They pay actual money and not points for gift cards etc. They pay fair & fast, have excellent customer service and their site is very professional. It was the first one I joined and they should be the standard for other survey companies.

    @Carrie:
    you might try contacting them and explaining your situation. this is from their site:

    If you have any questions, please email Scott (at) PineConeResearch (dot) com

      It’s legit. I’ve been signed up since the end of February and have received $39 in compensation from them since. As someone stated above, they are very professional and don’t spam your inbox with surveys you won’t qualify for. I generally get a prequalifier a month asking about our shopping habits and am averaging at least a survey a month(probably closer to 2 since $6 x 7 months is $42 and I’m at $39 after starting in the second month of year). I definitely recommend them.

    Any idea how long it takes to get your first survey? I got accepted maybe a month ago and haven’t seen a survey yet. Just curious.

    Thanks

    @N:
    this is the only survey company I would give 10 out of 10 stars. and I have signed up for many different ones. this is a good one to sign up for and especially for starting out with. i usually check out the Survey Police when checking out survey sites to get a feel for them and Pinecone has been at the top ever since I have been checking that site: https://www.surveypolice.com/rankings

    @Mel:
    it kind of goes in spurts with survey companies. i had not had any from Pinecone in while and just got 3 recently. also a lot depends on your demographics. be sure to put their address on your white list/safe sender list so it does not go in the spam file and gets delivered in a timely manner. I just looked on my emails and they are all from: scott (at) pineconeresearch (dot) com (put the real addy in your white list)
    also try to do the surveys as soon as you can.

    Any idea how long it can take to hear back from Pinecone Research to know if you have gotten selected. And if you don’t hear back, when is it appropriate to fill out another sign-up application?? Do they frown on multiple sign-ups???

    Hey, Tara!

    I signed up months ago, and didn’t hear anything, but I didn’t think to check my spam, so it’s very possible I accidentally deleted an email from them. As a result, I DID just sign up again; this will be the last time if I don’t hear anything in a few days, as I don’t want to hit them with multiples. Keep up the good work! : )
