yum subway……myself and 2 teenagers could eat there 365 days a year if I could afford it……. 25 bucks could let us eat there for at least 2 days in a row……they would be sooooooooooooooo happy!

I make a new years resolution every year to eat better, work out more, walk more, do more with the children (park, bowling, swimming). I always fall short of my goals, but am hoping to get back on the right track after the holidays! :)

I try to walk more during the holidays to (kind of) offset the extra sampling of sweets. After the holidays, I assess the total damage and then rid the house of anything that qualifies as junk food – left over alcohol, baked goods, candies, etc. I also get rid of almost all the processed foods as well, and start off the new year by eating more veggies and fish. It only sticks for a couple of weeks, but it helps those extra pounds come off :)

I go to the gym 3-4 times a week anyway and eat healthy, except during the holidays. So to loose those extra pounds I stop eating all the cookies, pies, cakes and candy for sheding those extra pounds.
