I really wish I could say I have it all under control, but I’m sorry to tell you that most days I’m just flying by the seat of my pants. Organization is definitely not my forte, but I’m hoping that my momAgenda Desktop planner will assist me in getting organized in the New Year. The bright colors and clean layout inspire me, and I love that there are plenty of extra pages for notes.

Moms will appreciate the week at a glance layout, and if you’re into menu planning, there’s a slot to write each day’s menu for the week. There are also slots for keeping track of the kids’ schedules, so you can keep all of your obligations in one easy-to-use holding place.

More About momAgenda
Since its inception in 2005, momAgenda has grown annually to include a diversified range of products that help organize the lives of mothers and others, including day planners, home organizers, and helpful pads. The collection is sold at leading national retailers and regional boutiques throughout the US. Nina Restieri, momAgenda’s inventor and founder, gets immense joy out of helping the pieces of everyone’s personal puzzle – family, career, home and social life – come together.

Sunday night or Monday morning I have to write out my “plan” for the week-appointments and other activities and then how to squeeze the errands in around them!

I use a weekly panner to meal plan and make shopping lists. That way I can find coupons that I need and don’t overspend.

I use a Moleskine notebook planner that has the days of the week on one side of the page and a blank, lined page on the facing side. I like that there’s room for information for each day as well as having room for notes, directions to places, thoughts, ideas and such. Unfortunately, that’s too big to keep with me all the time, so I also have a small notebook that I keep in my pocket. That serves as my “brain book” and serves as my “pieces of scrap paper that I don’t loose”.

Organization is not my forte either! I can really use this! I do try to make lists because if it isn’t written down … it isn’t happening! I do this on a spiral notebook. I could really use this giveaway…thanks for the chance : )

Organization is not my best, but items that are a must that have to get done by a certain time that week go on a small post-it which then I stick on my cell phone. I alwasy seem to have my cell phone in my purse or pocket so I always see the post-it reminder.

I am so not a morning person, and it seems that I can’t even really think straight until 2 pm…. so before I go to bed at night, I write down what I need to do the following day on a post it note, and stick it to the coffee maker!

I have a small calendar and a small accordian file that fits in my purse to try to help keep me organized or at least sane.

Well, I have a variety of forms I could use, but they never seem to be around when I need them. I often grab a 4 x 4 square of paper from my paper cube and make lists of things-to-do, grocery needs, etc. They are very convenient, but also small and easy to lose :D.

I guess I need to come up with a better method.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
