Last year, Mandi from Organizing Your Way and I partnered to create the One Dollar Give, a giving campaign that ran throughout the month of December.
This year, we’re doing things a little bit differently and focusing on just one organization to see how big of an impact we can make.
A donation of $5 to Feeding America provides more than 45 pounds of food, or 10 bags of groceries, to a family in need. In today’s economic climate, this is a tangible way to make a difference in the lives of your neighbors.
Because I truly believe in the work that Feeding America is doing, I will be personally matching the first $1,000 in donations. Libby’s will also be matching donations through their partnership with Feeding America, which means your donation of $5 will actually provide 30 bags of groceries!
Click here to visit the One Dollar Give and consider donating $5 to help us reach our goal this Christmas season! If you’re a regular Deal Seeking Mom reader, you probably save at least that much on a weekly basis…and probably a whole lot more.

I love that you are promoting Feeding America. We need to remember those in our community that are hungry. We need to focus more on giving back. Your sight makes helping others painless.
Thank you.

What a wonderful idea! Thank you! I decided to donate the amount I will save at the grocery story today with my coupons. Our family has been very blessed and this time of year is a great way to spread those blessings around.

this is a great thing you’re doing. i’ll probably make it over to contibute at least $5, but I should also thank you because your site has really helped me out in my personal charitable interest this holiday season. I was able to stretch my money to buy far more toys, games, and toiletries for local kids in need this year with the help of your blog! many thanks!
