momAgenda Desktop Planner
I really wish I could say I have it all under control, but I’m sorry to tell you that most days I’m just flying by the seat of my pants. Organization is definitely not my forte, but I’m hoping that my momAgenda Desktop planner will assist me in getting organized in the New Year. The bright colors and clean layout inspire me, and I love that there are plenty of extra pages for notes.
Moms will appreciate the week at a glance layout, and if you’re into menu planning, there’s a slot to write each day’s menu for the week. There are also slots for keeping track of the kids’ schedules, so you can keep all of your obligations in one easy-to-use holding place.

I use a small dollar store notebook for my daily tasks, and I just bought a flexible pink calendar for next year that I’m already starting to fill! The goal is to keep it in my purse and write stuff down IMMEDIATELY when I find out about it. We’ll see…. :)

I write out a to-do list at the end of each workday, for the following day. I also have a “post-its” program for my computer, so if I think of something that I need to so while I’m at home, I can leave a “sticky note” to remind myself!

I make lists using free note pads that I get in the mail along side return address labels. I don’t quite manage to do all of them but I try!

Master family calendar in the kitchen. Daily tasks go on some random piece of paper the kids bring home from school & then into the paper recycle bin when I’m finished!

My day is very random, so I don’t stick with anything that has time slots and whatnot. I jot a “to do” list on a scrap of paper, when the list is more done than not, I copy what’s left to a new piece of paper and keep adding more “to dos”. I’d like to move back to a calendar (which I used while in school or working), but for now random paper seems to work well enough.

I write my menu for the week on a white board calendar that’s on the fridge and I’ve divided different housework duties on a list on the side of my fridge. It helps me not get too behind on housework.

I consider myself fairly organized, but have failed to commit to a single day planning method. We have a wall calendar for at-a-glance, I use Cozi online calendar, and I send hubby an email every week with the week’s schedule. Very time-involved and repetitious. I’m thinking of ditching the electronic calendar all together. (already stopped using my pda and can’t justify the costs of an i-phone).
