TAYGA Cooking ApronsTayga Red & White Reversible Cooking Apron
Who needs a special occasion to use an apron? These super cute TAYGA cooking aprons will have you looking for an excuse to use them every day. I especially love the full, colorful reversible aprons. Wearing one makes cooking just a little more fun, while protecting your clothes from messy spills at the same time.

And how cute are the children’s aprons? They’re on my must-buy list for my two girls. Look for teens aprons coming December 1st and men’s aprons in Spring 2010 too.

More About TAYGA
TAYGA, an acronym for “This ain’t your grandmother’s apron!”, has been producing feminine and functional handmade aprons for women of all sizes for more than two years. Designers Debbie and Peg design their playful and sexy aprons to help women experience joy in the kitchen.

My favorite holiday dish is the sweet potato casserole that we have every year. It’s to die for…tastes more like dessert than a side dish! :)

I love homemade pumpkin pies made with fresh pumpkin. I got the recipe from my dear sweet Aunt Joyce. She has always made them since I can remember. She is not in good health in recent years so now when I make them, I send her one. Everytime I even think about them, I think of her with love and fond memories.

Not a typical holiday dish, but growing every New Year’s Day my extended family would get together to exchange gifts and eat lasagna. Now I continue the lasagna tradition by making a big New Year’s Day meal with my roommates. I don’t own an apron and this would definitely help with the messy process.

My whole family goes crazy for yorkshire puddings (or popovers). They are buttery, puffy little ‘rolls’ that we make in muffin tins. We only have them at holidays, because they are way too fattening to eat year-round.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
