December 3, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 9 Comments

McAfee Total Protection Free
Through 12/4 (that’s tomorrow!) you can purchase McAfee Internet Security 3-User 2010 for $70 from Amazon.com.

Make sure you select the $70 Amazon version from the right-hand column under “More Buying Choices.”

Then you can mail in the full rebate (PDF) to get your entire purchase price of $70 refunded to you! Plus you can select Super Saver shipping to have the software shipped to you directly at no charge.

Please note: To be eligible for the MIR, you must purchase the software at the $70 price from Amazon.com. Make sure that under the green In Stock wording it says “Ships from and sold by Amazon.com.”

Thanks, NWA Deals!

Just a bit of advice……I purchased the 2009 version and I had to uninstall it due problems working with AOL There’s some glitch with the two being compatible. I called the McAffee help desk and was told I’d have to call AOL for them to fix it. I’d check this out before I purchased it if you use AOL.

you have the wrong mcafee linked here. The right one that sells from Amazon for $70 but free after rebate is currently available, but your link takes you to one that does not qualify for the rebate. Just thought you’d want to know in case it confuses your readers.

The link is correct — they just changed who is offering it right now. Make sure you select the $70 Amazon version from the right-hand column under “More Buying Choices.”

I got mine. Thanks for the info!

PS I see people saying not to use MaAfee but we’ve used it for a few years without any problems and my husband’s company uses it too. I’m sure experiences vary.
