If you’re looking for a gift that’s sure to please a wide variety, fresh fruit is the perfect choice. The beautiful red pear and comice mixed box that I received from Naumes Fruit Gifts were some of the sweetest and juiciest pears I’ve ever tasted. I made the mistake of sharing one with my five-year-old daughter, and she’s been pestering me for more ever since.

Not only is this a delightful gift for your tastebuds, but Naumes has also been dedicated to feeding the hungry for generations. This generous company will match your fruit gift pound for pound, donating fresh fruit to food banks to feed hungry families. This is a gift you can feel good about on many levels!

My favorite things is our baking party. Where I have friends and family who come over, for coffee and laughs. We bake everything from cookies to cakes to candies, and and making fudge. We also have a kid table for cookie decorating and and the making of a gingerbread town. The kids all decorate a small gingerbread house and when finished they put on a large table to make a city.

This year, my boyfriend and I are giving homemade jellies and jams for Christmas. This is a sentimental gift for his family, as he learned the skill from his elderly grandmother (she is 72). Hopefully this will be a good opportunity for the family to share memories of visiting her farm for Christmas in years past.

I love to give trays of home-baked cookies at Christmas time. As a kid, my brother and I would strive to bake twelve different types of cookies for our family cookie trays and we always had tons of fun.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
