If you're looking for a truly flexible gift that's a little more personal than cash, Sears' new gift cards may be the answer. Now, you can use your Sears gift card at Sears, Kmart, The Great Indoors and Lands' End, making it easier for recipients to find something they want or need!
Sears sent me a $200 gift card to experience the flexibility that it offers firsthand, and I have to tell you, it really was that simple. I was able to shop from the comfort of my own home (in my PJs I might add) and check off a good portion of the items that were on my Christmas gift list.
Would you like to see what I got?

I've mentioned before that we have a tradition of buying our kids new jammies that are a present from Mom and Dad that they receive on Christmas Eve, so I was able to pick up five pairs of fleece pajamas (2 pink and 3 green) from Land's End. These should make for some cute Christmas morning photos!
I was lucky enough to get 25% off and free shipping, so that left me a decent amount to spend at my next stop, Kmart.

I was able to pick up the last two items we needed for our two oldest boys' main gift of the year -- a PlayStation 3 courtesy of saving up my Swag Bucks! I had just enough to score this cool metallic blue PS3 controller and the component cables to hook it up to the TV.
I honestly had no idea that Sears gift cards could be used anywhere else other than Sears prior to working with them on this project. Being able to shop multiple stores is not only convenient, but it makes a Sears gift card a good choice for a family gift because you're sure to find something for everyone between the four stores you can use it at.
But why not try it for yourself? Sears didn't want to leave my wonderful readers empty handed, so two lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a $50 Sears gift card so they too can experience the convenience and flexibility!

I like to shop in the store, this way I get to see in person the items I am purchasing. I am still leery about giving my credit card info online, so I will use a virtual credit card number. Thanks and Merry Christmas to all.
I definitely prefer on-line shopping!

I prefer shopping online just so much easier.
It depends on what I am shopping for. I like to try on clothes but most everything else I prefer to get on line.
Although I'm not a fan of crowds, I still prefer to shop "in-store"
I love to do most of my shopping online...it's the best way to comparison shop when you're on a budget!
I prefer shopping online as I live in a rural area and have little kids to complicate things.

I really like online when I can get free shipping. There is always a larger selection of styles and sizes of everything than in stores. I usually start online though.
online shopping is always nice so you don't have to pack up the kids

I typically shop in-store - then I don't have to spend extra on shipping (or pay NY sales tax bc I shop in NJ.)

I prefer actual stores for most shopping, with the exception of textbooks/magazines and some electronics.

I prefer on line shopping especially with a little one...
Online shipping, you can get much better deals!
I would much rather shop on line but for some reason I always wait till the very last minute not leaving myself any time for shipping so off to the stores I must go...
Thank you for entering me!

I'm happy to shop online or in-store, but definitely like the advantage of being able to try things on in store when shopping for myself.

I prefer on-line, but always seem to put it off so long I have to go to the stores :(

I used to prefer shopping in-store but now with an extremely active toddler I do as much online shopping as I can. And with great deals on sites like Amazon & Etsy, it's hard to resist the temptation to shop at 2AM in my pajamas!

online. no doubt about it. especially in the winter when going to a store means "weather-proofing" 2 little kids and arguing with a 3rd to WEAR a coat :)
i still enjoy going shopping myself but it is hard to beat being able to grab a cup of coffee ,relax by the fire and shop online!
