Well, truth be told, neither did I (it was December 8th if you’re wondering), but I had a blast hanging out with some of my favorite local bloggers and tasting all of the yummy Cheryl & Co. goodies. We toured the factory, frosted cookies, and I even won an adorable Ohio State Buckeyes cookie jar — the perfect end to a fun day!

    My favorite dessert is one that my mom made for us as kids: 4-layer dessert cake. For our birthdays, we would ask for it in place of traditional cake. It consists of a crust, chocolate pudding, whip cream and pecan nuts to garnish. Delish!

    Hmm that’s a tough one because I can eat chocolate frosting straight from the tub. I’d say chocolate ice cream though.

    Our favorite dessert is a simple franco-american recipe passed down through my husbands family, it’s called Pudding Chemure…but the family calls it Dead Cat Pudding. I know, strange name but it’s crazy good. You make a simple vanilla cake, top it with brown sugar, pour 2 cups of boiling hot water over it & bake it for 45 minutes @ 350…the cake steams up & the sugar melts down thru ending up with this wonderful pudding like consistancy on the bottom. My husband has been known to eat the entire thing in a day!

    Hmmmm…my fave dessert. There are soooo many!! I think my absolute favorite today anyways ;) is pecan pie. I absolutely love pecan pie but rarely allow myself to indulge in it. My mouth is watering now….

    My favorite dessert that I make on special occassions is Tiramisu.
    I absolutely love the coffee flavor and the creamy marscapone cheese.
    My family goes nuts over this dessert.
