Win-It Wednesday: The Couponizer (5 Winners!)

June 16, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’m always looking for new and improved ways to organize my coupons, so I was excited when Amy Bergin, creator of The Couponizer, asked if I’d like to test drive one. The first thing I noticed about The Couponizer is that it comes with everything a beginning coupon user needs: spiral-bound coupon booklet with coupon pockets, coupon-sorting pad, shopping list, savings tracker, scissors, and a handy clear plastic pouch to store it all. This is a fantastic way to get comfortable with using coupons and learning what works for you as far as sorting and storing them.

Now I’ve mentioned in the past that I use the file-by-insert method, so you might wonder how a product like this could work for me. As it turns out, it’s actually the perfect supplement to my current method.

I’ve always had a hard time organizing my printable coupons and other loose coupons that I receive in the mail. The Couponizer is great for sorting these coupons that I have a tendency to forget about, and it also has pockets for my store loyalty cards, as well as folders for storing coupons I plan to use in a given shopping trip. There’s also a folder for coupons to use at checkout, so you can move them over when you actually place the item in your cart, and a folder to store expiring coupons so you can make sure they’re used in a given month.

Five lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a Couponizer!

Through 7/31 you can get $1 off any order at The Couponizer. Just enter coupon code SUMMER10 at checkout!

To enter, tell me how you store and keep track of all your coupons. Do you have a binder, a coupon wallet, a bag?

+++++++++++++++

Every reader has four methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, three, or four for up to a total of 4 entries!!!

I have a full-on coupon binder. Its a Case-It brand zippered binder, I have a million dividers and categories, storage for pens, highlighters, scissors, calculator, etc. But before I shop I plan each trip and I’d love a smaller more compact version!

I use both a smaller size coupon book for clipped ones and a 13 pocket expandable hanging file to keep the inserts by date for easy location!

I use one of those plasticky organizers that people use to store bills, but it drives me nuts. I’d love to try this.

I use a wallet to store all of my coupons. Before I go to the store, I go thru the ads and my shopping list to pull out the coupons that I am likely to use. I would love to try the Couponizer!

I keep the clipped ones in a small check file, but this would be great. I file the rest by insert.

There is a pocket on the front of my purse that is supposed to be used to hold everything that would go in your wallet… but I use it as a filing system for all of my coupons. It actually comes i handy!

I use the binder method with tabs dividing sections of the grocery store. Small accordion in the front where I keep the sales ads, and any coupons I may’ve not clipped yet.

I’m also a binder girl, but this looks really cool. I’d love to try one.

I keep all of my coupons in a pencil box with a pen and rubber bands. i rubber bands the ones i cam going to use so they are at least organized by the time i get to the cashier. It doesn’t help that my child yesterday took my box and it wasn’t closed and ALL of my couons fell out. What a hassle.

I use a file folder to store them all then cut before I go to the store. This would be great to keep them in on the way to the store.

I just started using Coupons and use an envelope for them. I would love the Couponizer because when I’m in the store, it takes me forever to find the right Coupons…

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...
