    I like to be near the water–so by the river or on the lake would be my preference (although one of my fondest memories of a picnic was just putting a blanket on our lawn when my kids were younger–pure contentment).

    My favorite picnic place is at a great little wooden park. We have 3 kids (2 almost toddlers and a preschooler) So having a playground is a must, but this park also has beautiful trails and a little pond full of ducks! We love going there!!

    My favorite picnic spot is on the church grounds after Sunday services. We all bring our baskets and the children will wander from blanket to blanket sampling all the goodies as they go. Everyone always has to have one of my famous cupcakes and they love my deviled eggs.
