Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!
Chances are you’ve got an outdoor outing or two planned still this summer, and Pyrex believes that its latest products are perfect for your next summer event. What, glass for an outdoor event?!? Well, yes, they have some pretty valid reasons why it would make a great choice:
- Seeing is Eating – Tinted plastic containers wrapped in three layers of foil to prevent spillage also prevent you and your crew from seeing what’s inside. Hidden foods are easily forgotten.
- Spill Prevention – Pyrex No-Leak Lids glass storage have lids that contain an airtight and leak-proof seal that keep your picnic basket free of leaks and spills. (I’m not sure if you’ve ever had the pleasure of having pasta salad leak in a cooler leaving an oily residue on everything inside, but I have and it’s the pits.)
- Preservation – Pyrex glass storage is BPA-free, doesn’t absorb stains or odors like plastic can and is reusable, which is friendly to the environment.
Not only is the Pyrex No-Leak Lids glass storage an ideal choice, but their new utensil line is really cool! Made from BPA-free silicone, the spoons and spatulas are super flexible and reach easily into the corners of bowls and cookware. I especially love the ease of storing the measuring cups with their magnetic handles that keep them perfectly stacked.
Two lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers will win a Pyrex Picnic Pack that includes:
- Pyrex Rolling Cooler (not available in stores – EV $16.99)
- Pyrex Picnic Blanket (not available in stores – EV $12.99)
- Pyrex Magnetic Measuring Cups ($9.99 MSRP)

My favorite place to picnic, is of course with all four of my children and usually my neighbor boy with my husband at the end of our little line. I say at the end of our little line because we are only 40 minutes away from Mt. Charleston here in Las Vegas and that is our favorite place to picnic. In the winter we go up there and sled and play in the snow, having amazing snow ball fights and creating awesome memories. In the summer we go up for the cool weather and great hikes,(hence the kids in a little row hiking up the canyons), somewhere during our hike we always stop for our picnic. We let the kids play and get dirty, it is just a lot of fun. Last time we were up there in July there were so many lady bugs we didn’t know what to do with ourselves, :) we enjoy nature and all it offers. We take every oppurtunity to picnic at Mt. Charleston.

I like to picnic at Mt. Diablo State Park in CA. I packed up my mom and the kids in the Spring and we saw coyotes, birds, squirrels and many pretty spring flowers. My daughter found a pine cone the size of her head! Pretty awesome.
