    My favorite picnic place this summer was Solstice Canyon in Malibu. Its a breath-taking hike up a mountain and along a canyon ridge and then switchbacks down to a cute waterfall and creek! Also an old homestead that burnt partway down is there to explore. We hiked our lunch to the waterfall and the kids got in the water even though it was freezing, all in all a wonderful picnic and one i’ll remember for a long time!

    I like to picnic at a local park called The Crossing but sometimes the best place is in our own backyard.

    My favorite picnic place is Woodson Bridge in Northern California. I went there when I was little and still take my girls there now. In fact, we are celebrating a birthday there this weekend!!! Brings back great memories!!

    Another great place to go for picnics is our local wildlife reserve. The girls can see all the animals and then have a picnic under the big trees in the open space and fresh smells.
