Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

Chances are you’ve got an outdoor outing or two planned still this summer, and Pyrex believes that its latest products are perfect for your next summer event. What, glass for an outdoor event?!? Well, yes, they have some pretty valid reasons why it would make a great choice:
- Seeing is Eating – Tinted plastic containers wrapped in three layers of foil to prevent spillage also prevent you and your crew from seeing what’s inside. Hidden foods are easily forgotten.
- Spill Prevention – Pyrex No-Leak Lids glass storage have lids that contain an airtight and leak-proof seal that keep your picnic basket free of leaks and spills. (I’m not sure if you’ve ever had the pleasure of having pasta salad leak in a cooler leaving an oily residue on everything inside, but I have and it’s the pits.)
- Preservation – Pyrex glass storage is BPA-free, doesn’t absorb stains or odors like plastic can and is reusable, which is friendly to the environment.
Not only is the Pyrex No-Leak Lids glass storage an ideal choice, but their new utensil line is really cool! Made from BPA-free silicone, the spoons and spatulas are super flexible and reach easily into the corners of bowls and cookware. I especially love the ease of storing the measuring cups with their magnetic handles that keep them perfectly stacked.
Two lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers will win a Pyrex Picnic Pack that includes:
- Pyrex Rolling Cooler (not available in stores – EV $16.99)
- Pyrex Picnic Blanket (not available in stores – EV $12.99)
- Pyrex Magnetic Measuring Cups ($9.99 MSRP)

My family and I enjoy picnicing at a local field that offers a playground and picnic tables. It is an inexpensive way to enjoy good times with friends and family. Thanks for the giveaway!

The local school has park facilities next to the softball field, the spot is shaded and really has been a wonderful find, the kids just love it and so do I!!!!

We love to go to the river and stay with family at their camper. We take a boat or jetski out to Lake Erie with our little boys. They have so much fun. It’s incredibly peaceful and a great break from the daily grind!!

Our favorite place is the local farm where we have a CSA. We pick up our veggies and then play and eat at a picnic table.

My favorite picnic spot (when I lived in Boston) was the Commons near the duck pond. I would bring my lunch everyday and just take in the scenery!

I luv to take the kids to the local park with our picnic goodies in hand. They have a blast on the swings and I can get a much needed 10 minute me rest.
Joy
Our favorite picnic spot is on the river in the next county – there is a spot where the trees provide perfect shade and the sound of the river is perfect for relaxing. Our four children love to have lunch and then fish, play tag, etc. for the rest of the afternoon. Much better than lunch at a fancy restaurant and a great way to reconnect with our kids every few weeks!
Kristin
Our family’s favorite picnic spot is at the children’s park. That way the kids can play and then refuel!

I don’t enter giveaways often but I couldn’t pass this one up! Our family loves visiting maymont for picnics! We always make sure to bring some extra bread to feed the ducks and after we’ve enjoyed our picnic we head up the hill to the childrens farm where my two year old enjoys viviting and feeding the animals. A picnic at Maymont always makes for a great day!

If it is raining, we picnic in our living room!
But when we were in college, my then-fiance (husband, now!) took me on a picnic up on a hill overlooking the whole town. It was very nice.

My favorite picnic place is near the waterfall at our nearby state park. Beautiful area! Also like to canoe at the Kinzua Dam (Allegheny River) in PA.
